To do this well means getting to know our clients, developing trust and building a relationship that is essentially also a friendship. This is what gets us out of bed each morning and puts a spring in our step.
We want to work with people who want to work with us – not just once, but time and again, over a very long period. So you won’t see our eyes lighting up simply at the mention of a large or one-off project, or for that matter glazing over if your call or email is “just a
quick one”. We’re in it for the long haul, because we enjoy what we do and we’re good at it.
We don’t set out to be all things to all men: we focus on what we enjoy doing, and do it well. We understand that our clients may also require assistance from other advisers and experts, and we’re not afraid to call in others to do what they do well.
For this reason we have invested in building relationships with other advisers – specialist law firms, professional services providers and other experts – whom we can bring in to assist on specific client matters and assignments, and whom we are happy to introduce, work alongside and/or manage, in line with our client’s specific needs. So on an individual client basis, we can tailor not only the substantive advice, but also the method
of its delivery.
